What I learn from watching Star Trek:

1: The transporter will go wrong. Not "salsification" wrong, but "wrong planet!" wrong.

2: Shiney==powerful or impervious to attack.

3: Brains go in jars.

4: Reverb==power.

5: One punch will down -anyone-, so long as it comes from a featured character.

6: The Captain is Sexually Irresistable.

7: Anything that goes around your neck is bad.

7a: Unless it is a member of the opposite sex.

7b: Unless she's trying to suck the salt from your body. (This is, however, kinda fun.)

8: Anything can be fixed, regardless of sparks, flames, melting, etx.

9: Spock will know what to do.

10: Scotty will know what to say.

11: The booze is under/inside/behind the largest object in the room.

12: In the future, everything will be geometric shapes.

13: If you have glowing eyes, you will be evil. Powerful, but evil.

14: Suffer the children, or they'll rip your face off.

15: All medical ailments can be treated with pumping your legs, drinking some Wild Turkey, and McCoy staring at your chest and willing the disease away.

16: No-one really ever -needed- a second name, right?

17: It's not rape if one of the partners is an alien.

18: Sex with alien species is not only possible, but fun!

19: Everyone will have weapons that work like ours.

20: If all else fails, jack a hypospray into 'em.

Edit: 21: Increased Breast Size means she's really a good person, regardless of who she serves.

I'm going to have to presume this is ST:TOS, cuz I've rarely head Picard, Janeway, Sisko, Archer or Janeway referred to such as in number 6.

With the exception of Janeway and Janeway, I've heard people express comments about the others, but yes, it was TOS. :D
