bzarcherSo, a couple of days ago I noticed that the NHL's online store is offering the Replicia Blue Jackets jerseys in 3x and 4x. Still not cheap at $135 before customization, but a lot better than the previous option - Buy an authentic at $300 before customizatioN!
However, if I'm gonna drop $135 on a jersey, especially if I might want to customize it (another $65 right there), I'd far rather go through the team than the NHL website, right?
So I stopped in the Blueline on Saturday and asked if they were going to carry them when the season got going. The guy working on Saturday was just a grunt and wasn't sure, but he said he'd find out for me.
I got a call back today from the manager - apparently these are "NHL Store exclusives" right now and the team wasn't even given the option of ordering them from Reebok.
Suck.
AH-HAH! The guys at Triple Threat think they can get them...
