skarlette and I are gonna try to slow down. Things have been a touch too fast, and neither of us wants to hurt the other. We care very deeply about each other, and we're going at friends, and we'll see what grows from that.

Before someone even mentions a certain other female, it's not like that. Believe me, it's not like that. Our trust is mutual, our motives known.

I trust her as much as I trust ijikeru, or sk4p, or silentsteel, or ixx. As much as those who saw me through after the last time I half-tried to kill myself, several years ago.

Yeah, I'm actually mentioning that out loud. Wierd, huh? It's taken almost 3 years, but I'm actually discussing it and dealing with it rationally.

It's odd, but I think my life is on the course it's supposed to take. I'm happy, and I have friends that love me, and who I very much trust. I have a good job, I'm doing well with my education, and...while I don't know where I'm going exactly, at least I know I've got people who will be with me on the way.
