Have you considered taking Mystery Cat to your vet to see if he has a chip in him? If he has a chip, then maybe his owners are also wondering about the stange behavior of their cat.

Mystery Cat is gorgeous, but not Onyx.

Onyx is sort of spindly and scrawny. Mystery Cat is all sleek.
