The main reason I ended up doing it was that a bunch of the people in the Jacket Backers are using it for doing announcements and networking, and they really wanted me to get one so I can help out with that.

I had the same issue. So now I have Facebook, and I still don't get it. I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to be doing with it. Am I supposed to be posting content? Is there more to write than various cute epithets about how we all think our friends are neat?
