WINGS!

Almost forgot! The wings arrived today! And they look -good!- Even if they did send me white instead of black. But that's not so bad. :D

And I finally found one of the electronic Dooku lightsabres! With sounds!

Side note: On the subject of wings. I think I finally figured out why I like buffalo wings so much. Not just the incredible variety of sauces you can get, but the sensation of ripping through the meat. Of the bone twisting under my teeth. Of the visceral sensations.

The chance to let the beast out for a bit, on something that it's totally acceptible to shred.

Yay for safety valves.

Side note: Also a -big- yay for kinky sex.

You definetly need to come by and visit some day, then. You haven't had *real* 'buffalo wings'. You've had decent, I guess - it's a classic truism that the further from Buffalo you get, the worse the 'wings' get. In fact, the phrase 'buffalo style' has largely been corrupted to a point where most Buffalonians laugh at it. :D One of these days, I'll haul you along to Rudy's and show you *the* wings.

Oh, I'm sure....I love ribs, too, but they're not as easy to find here.

Now, if we were in Columbus, plenty of BBQ places there...but not in northern Ohio for some reason.

MMmm. Sounds like a plan. :D I've visited Buffalo twice on tours, but each time we were fed dinner at the churches, and lasanga was the standard fare. (I love lasanga, but for the past 3 years it's been so associated with bad church dinners that I couldn't even look at it for awhile!) But, next time I get up to NY, I shall let you haul away.

As to the costume wings, they're nice feather angel ones, as I'm either going with Ben as Bartleby (Me) and Loki (Ben) from Dogma, or if he can't get his costume together, I'm going as the fallen angel Islington from Neverwhere

On the subject of buffalo wings, the reasons given above are precisely why I dislike them. I adore the hot-sauces but am bothered by the ren-fest-ish spectacle of ripping through sinew with only hand and tooth. But I'm a pansy.
