The new Godzilla game for the Game Cube? Fan. Tastic. Particularly once you start unlocking stuff or looking up cheats for things like Black and White mode. Even cheesy sound effects are preserved! (But...where's Gamera? Where's the love for the turtle?)

After a discussion this evening with people, not to mention seeing some LJ entries today on people stepping out (Hi,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
plymouth!!), I miss not having a Goth or Industrial scene around. I'd even settle for a rave scene. Right now, much of the Wooster goth population is...well...living in this building. And yeah, it's fun, and when we put together gigs and such it's good, but I would love to go to a club, meet new people, hang out, enjoy the music, and likely make a fool of myself, and -not- have to drive 90 minutes to 2 hours each way for decent places to go. (Yes, I know there are some clubs in Akron which would be closer, but for some reason most of us in Wooster tend to either go up to Cleveland, down to Columbus, or out to Pittsburgh.)
I keep lusting after Shadowfae's Mandarin style coat. See how much spare money I have after my major Christmas present/savings goal of the Chicago trip.
....update. Email from parents indicates hotel and plane tickets are reserved, Thunderbirds are Go. HRm. Airport security is gonna mandate getting up somewhat early on my departure and return dates. But, ah, well. I'm reasonably certain I'll be forgiven if I promise to come back soon as I can, and make sure to buy her breakfast that morning if she comes out to see me off.
After playing some more Godzilla, and Super Monkey Ball, and Mario Party 4, it is time for bed.
I may also have to investigate getting a Gamecube, perhaps this summer.
