I dunno what to do here.

The player came from Wal-mart, but I bought it back in July. It's out of warranty.

Crazy crazy... I've only had two problem discs with my Apex. Disc two of To Venus and Back (audio CD) and the supplemental disc in Fantasia Anthology. Other than that, it's been a gem since I got it my sophomore year. OTOH, this was back when they were an upstart, and did things like put loopholes to turn off Macrovision in their player. They may have started cutting corners (already, they aren't 17" components anymore; for shame).

*nods* This is a 15" model, so I'm not sure exactly what the hell is going on. I think I'm gonna try to limp it through Thanksgiving, and if it's still going in and out, maybe see if my parents will do the replacement thang.
