Hrm. Random thought...

Grandparents took me to their church this morning. The contrast between the places we went on tour and this one is amazing....

This was a "Praise Team" church: This means that the pastor wasn't even seen until he gave a fairly weak sermon right beofre the end, when he then disappeared. Who did we see?

1) Very bad second tenor who sang sunday school songs for the congregation to ape.
1) Keyboardist
1) Drummer
2) Really bad imitation pop singers doing really weak solo songs that could have been totally unrelated to God or Christianity except for being sung in a church.
1) Alto Sax.

It felt more like a very badly done talent show than a church service...and it -hurt-.

I can usually go into churches, even cathedrals, and it doesn't bother me a bit. Deity is Deity is Deity, it's just how we choose to recognize and celebrate them. But this...just didn't feel right. Left with a headache and this dull throbbing in my chest. Could feel fists clench a few times, too. I suppose because this felt more like a perversion of faith than an actual celebration of it?

Dunno...

Finally back home, anyhow.

Hrm...it's wierd. (I seem to start more journal entries that way...)

When I was on tour/vacation, I spent a good bit in a comfortably horny kinda state, but nothing too overwhelming, y'know?

Now that I'm back, I'm REALLY horny, and sexually frustrated as all hell. Tried looking up some porn. Didn't help. Tried a cold shower. Didn't help. Tried "other things". This also didn't help.

*grumble*
