Mmm. Masque ball.

demeterschild came down, and helped her with costume. Quite impressive, for simplicity.

Got pictures alone and with the other fallen angel. Expect to see them...someday. Went through a 3rd party, so I assume I'll get a copy, but who knows?

The party was -great-. A band made of people from around and in the dorm played, as well as DJs from the program. :D

Best songs:
"If I Only Were a Goth", originally created by Alexxx Reed, performed by Liquid Fusion (house band), and to the tune of "If I only had a brain!". A dorm favorite, probably one of the last years it may be performed. The writer's graduated, and most of the people who know the tune are as well.

"Monster Mash!", because we all got to sing along.

"Time Warp!", because without any consultation, this year we had a girl dressed as a -very- sexy Frank, a Magenta, a Dr. Scott, a Janet, a Brad, and an Eddie. And they all got out to dance a floor show during it with a bunch of us who knew the moves.

Other notable costumes:

"Sexy Cow" by Melissa Offenhauser, complete with a balloon udder as part of her cow-spotted bikini bottoms.
The other fallen angel.
"Shake" from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
No less than 6 versions of Tyler Durden.
Lots and lots of demons, fairies, and period garb. :>

For the record...next year, since I might not be in a position to attend the Masque ball here...I fully intend to find a good, fun, exciting masque/fetish ball, and find some way to have skarlette with me, where I will dance the night away in her arms, if the gods are kind. :D

Mmm. Today's observation is that people have far too much faith in me. :D

*sighs* I miss her. I woke up early... I suspect because I knew she was going to work. I wish I could see her. I'd love to somehow magically appear in Chicago, order a cup of coffee from her, wink, and then read in the shop until she got off work...

Honestly, I'm not very psyched about the LARP tonight at all. I'd rather be with her, or out at a movie, or something. My character has few good reasons to be there.

Hell, I'd love to drive up to Cleveland, go to a Rocky Horror show, dance, and maybe just hang with some freaks on my levels.
