Progress:

Chapters 1 and 2 of my thesis are done. Spent most of this evening tinkering with them on and off, and I'm satisfied.

Chapters 3 and 4 to go, and that will be my Senior Thesis taken care of, save for the oral defense. 3 will be hard. 4 will be easy.

I -will- have my thesis draft done by the beginning of the next semester. Might even have it done before winter break if I push.

My research final for my history course is done. Finished that this morning.

One small re-write for one of the weekly assignments, and I'll have finished my portfolio for that class, too. I'll have a 5 page take-home exam, and that class will be done, save weekly assignments

Ettiquette dinner tomorrow at 5.

1 exam left for Magic, Witchcraft, and Religion.

1 exam left for Language, Literature, and Culture.

Course scheduling is next Saturday morning. I've already approved my courses with Karen, and just need to get the forms to TA a class for her, as she wants my help with it. (Given it's on subcultural history in America, I'm not too surprised.)

I'm doing okay. I am.

I'm gonna graduate. There's no reason why I won't graduate, at this point.

We had a nice Animal House moment last night.

So, it's about 1:30am. Sam (guy in dorm) pops in the door.

Sam: "Guys, you gotta see this."

Ben: "What?"

Sam: "Some people fucking in (adjacent) Stevenson hall with the window open. Dave (another guy from the dorm) went out and told them that they were easily seen. Yelled, "People Fucking in Stevenson! We can see you!"

Ben: "They do anything?"

Sam: "Nope. So Dave shouts again, "People Fucking in Steveson! We can see you! Close the drapes or give us a better show!" A few minutes later, a 3rd person showed up!"

Apparently all people crave audience approval.

Mmm. Etiquette dinner was fun. Was shown all the proper etiquette (knew almost all of it), and got fed fairly well, though the main course was kinda bland.

Soup was a -delightful- black bean and butternut squash combination with a hint of chili powder.
Salad was greens, walnuts, pears, and gorgonzola cheese in djion vinagrette.
Pallate "refresher" was this amazing apple spice sorbet thingy.
Main dish was a pasta dish with root veggies (Carrots, white potates, Yams, and radish), fennel cream sauce, and black tea smoked chicken. Smelled fantastic, but no real bite to it. I'd have increased the garlic and added some more fennel, but I can see why they made it mild.
Dessert was apple-cranberry crisp.

The walk there and back though...

It's snowing, hard, and it's that ultra fine, part rain kinda snow that you only really "see" under the streetlights, but it coats to the bone. Brrrr. But, hey, it was decent, and the alumni assosciation didn't even hit us up for money during the meal. It was really just a reward/neato thing for seniors. (They have 4 of them during the year, I just happened to be invited to the 1st.)

Decent day, all in all.
