Just an amazing RP last night after XME came back up, and in a great mood, and getting to have fun with
skarlette, and just taking the mood my character was in and trying to capture it. :D
Past that, even waking up wasn't quite as bad as I feared it'd be, and I'm even eating breakfast. (Poptarts are breakfast! They sell them as breakfast food!)

I was gonna write something when I opened this up. I know I was. But it slipped away.
A lot of ideas seem just out of grasp, lately. There's a short story idea (that could be something much larger, ideally) sitting in the back of my mind since I saw a storefront in Naples. Parts of it flit in and out, and last night I actually saw myself writing out a decent beginning to it right before I passed fully into sleep. I think I want to wait until more of the stresses are good and done with, and then I'm gonna sit some Saturday with Word open, and write when the urge hits. A lot like how I approached academic work, or my other writing.
I haven't written many creative pieces except for various fanfictions and MUSH things since I started college, with the exception of a few bits of sappy poetry. I think the change will help me get into more creative works.
I got a scholarship to this school partly based on the plays and stories I used to write. I just wasn't sure I could keep that up for a degree.
I'll try to go back to it.
Past that, I just thought of what would be a neato graduation gift. You know those 'force feedback headphones' that most game stores sell for $20-30. Those'd be neat, but I never get them because they seem too expensive to spend my own money on, you know?
Now, back to work for another half hour, then I got to study, and then my final exam.
Wish me luck.

Graduation Forecast
May. 6th, 2003 05:41 pmMonday: 5/12
Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers until midnight. Breezy. Lows in the lower 50s and highs in the mid 60s.
Please don't rain, please don't rain, please don't rain, please don't rain.
Oh. And. Um.
( You notice how some of this gets easy when you've got a date already? )
