Yeah, so I'm an idiot.

ME: "Well, last time I /really/ remember having my Palm was 2 days ago when I came home so tired I could hardly walk."
Also me: "So what did you do?"
ME: "Oh, I stripped down, took a cold shower, and took a nap.
Also me: "Did you remember to get stuff from your pockets?"
ME: "Sure, the next morning."
Also me: "Everything?"
ME: "ummmm."

So the Palm was in its' case. Safe. In my jeans. Sitting atop the hamper to be washed.

Good thing I remembered before I went to do laundry.

Guh.

Just got a call from Seth.

Some of you met him at Graduation. He's been my friend since I was very, very little. We don't see each other that much since he went to Wisconsin, but he was at Graduation.

He lives with his Aunt while he goes to school, because his parents work in Texas.

He needed to talk tonight because said Aunt is dying. She went into a coma this morning after multiple strokes the last 2 days. She's not expected to wake up. They knew this might happen. They've prepared. She's in a hospice and the family's gathering.

But he needed to talk to a friend. So we did. And I'm a little down. Trying to stay up, tho.

He's gonna be on the track team for Wisconsin, it seems. He's really excited. He's never been a jock before.
