Aug. 17th, 2003 02:12 pmNot bad, really.
Been at work for about 3 hours. The boss came in for some of that, too. It's nice when they do the same they're asking you to do.
Almost done. I've got about 20 minutes worth of file transfers left, I think, and the majority of the data migration will have been done.
Then, I have all the stuff in the world for tomorrow, but it's all working /with/ people, so I can't get a jump on it today.
(Well, okay, I could do one thing today, but it's a bunch of registry hacking, and I'd rather not. So there.)
Past that,
skarlette called in mild panic last night around 3:30am, and I talked her through it, as it was mostly that the new computer wasn't working right. Problem got solved, got her online, and went back to bed around 5. Was glad to help her, but before anyone gets any ideas, you don't get 3am tech support unless you're my lover.
Next step, go home, cook food, figure out what to do the rest of the day. It's a bit wierd, being about and in the office. Well, scratch that. VERY wierd, actually.
Hmm. Might stop by Andrews on the way back from work, and see who's there...
