*yawns*

Wow, it's getting late.

On the upside, except for reinstalling some of the sound card EAX/Surround programs (back at the apartment), and a bunch of games (also back at the apartment), the computer is officially fixed, repaired, and restored. Even got my music, iTunes playlists, and Opera bookmarks to copy correctly.

Well, a couple of the iTunes playlists need fixed, but I can fix them by manually writing down the playlists from the iPod and constructing before I sync the iPod.

All in all, not a bad 4 hours of work.

Hmm.

The one thing I don't have a copy of, but I really could us is Lotus Word Pro. Anyone know if I can buy the latest version without shelling out $300 for Smartsuite Millenium?

Whooops!

Hooked up the iPod and lost a couple of the custom playlists I'd made while it was updating, because they hadn't carried over.

No biggie. This just means I get to make more!

Also, the computer's back in my place, now, and hooked up. The new motherboard also let me get rid of the USB 2.0 hub, so less cabling. Neato.

I know Lisa's in bed and waiting for me, but I'm just too keyed up to sleep.

Soon, love. Promise.

I remember the 80s far too well.

Went ahead and bought the Vivitar 3705 digital camera. My parents got one of the last ones at the Easton Target.

After all, it's a 3.3 megapixel camera for $88. And while I might not be able to make incredible movies or 5.0 megapixel pictures....why would I want to? And at $88, that's just fine for what it will do.

I'll probably use christmas money for a larger SD card. Will have to pick it up from family, possibly Sunday? Dunno. Depends on [livejournal.com profile] spiralpegasus and what he wants to do.
