YAAAAAAAAAHR!

Slept through alarm and thought today was gonna suck.

Then got a phonecall from the headhunter right as I got out of the shower.

"They love your resume. They'd like to talk to any references that you know will be in today, and an interview in the next day or two."

I win?

Excited and happy and also now want to throw up due to nerves.

That's apparently who's hunting me. :>

The irony of being a possible diabetic (though my sugars are apparently improving) working for a major distributor of diabetic health care gear is not lost on me.

A. Quiz )

The headhunter's called back at least 2 of my references this morning. Nervous. Hyper.

Hyperhyperhyperhyper. I don't think I've been this fucking keyed up since I was, like 12. Except for the first day I got to see Lisa. But maybe even above that!

Absolutely nothing is happening in Andrews Lounge, Thursday at 9pm.

You should come. And if someone could help with snacks due to my poorness, that'd rock too. Rock like thunder. I can bring loads of teabags, if someone can bring cookies. I can even bring an electric kettle. It rocks too. But you should come. Come. You. Come. Yes. Come. Yes.

The H.H. sent me an email with questions to help me prepare for the interview, which I looked at and thought of some pretty decent answers. He then called a bit ago to just check in, make sure I had no last minute stuff to ask, and asked me to please call him after the interview to let me know how it went.

I also asked if, should this not work out, he would continue to keep me on file to work with if more positions come up.

He said he'd already made the arrangements.

If I get this job, I think I need to send this guy a bottle of wine or something. He's really been kicking ass ever since he cold-called me about the job. :D
