Life update:

The caffinated soap seems to have actually worked!

I feel...surprisingly perked up. And the coffee and mint smells from the bar didn't hurt.

KoL: Made level 4 and got the slug lord's map at the same time, with my last action turn. Woot!

Oh, another cool event from home I'd mentioned to a few people yesterday, but didn't really touch on here.

We got some new neighbors, back in october. It seems to be a group of either college students or 20somethings who wanted a house, so they pooled and got there. They have 2 cats, a grey and white lady named Princess, and a black and white named something I can't remember. Both are shorthair domestics.

The problem is, the neighbors tend to just let the cats wander outside without keeping much track of them, so my parents and sister ended up putting out a large box with blankets in it for the cats to sleep in at night, plus food and water.

Well, my parents heard a hell of a cat based racket a couple nights ago, and went to check it out, because the neighbors apparently left for vacation on Thursday and just left the cats outside again, and they didn't want either cat getting hurt.

Opened the door....and found Princess inside the box, looking rather worn out, and nursing 4 baby kittens. :D

They've been feeding and caring for mother and babies since, and all seem to be in good health. There are 2 black and whites and 2 grey and whites. They currently plan to contact the owners as soon as they get back, and to ask if they can keep one of the grey and whites, because they'd really like to have a kitten around the house, and because Brando is really getting lonely since Reese died, and Brando seems to be responding well to the little ones. (Princess really doesn't seem to like any other cats getting close, but Brando has been pretty OK with their presence, rather than the way she normally freaks out and runs from larger cats.)

So, yeah, I think that's the last of the big news. Except that Mondays suck, and I'd rather be sleeping.

My head pretty much completely left 'the game' at about 3:30ish. I've been trying to do work, and even got some done, but otherwise, it's so not even there.

I'm very floaty. Very monday.

So, remember how I redid my paperwork, due to the late Wooster form, and figured out I should be getting, like, $10 back more than I actually got?

My check arrived at my parents today. They called, because they expected it to go to Wooster.

$60!!!!

Woohoo!
