Apr. 22nd, 2004 09:47 amOne of my Columbus possibilities just called. They actually wanted to see me today, if possible, but I explained about the Doctor's appointment.
Instead, I'll be seeing them Tuesday Morning. :D He sounded really excited about getting to have me down, too.

The best news as that the bone chips (which might have indicated a torn ligament) were from my accident a few years ago. No ligament damage!
The bad news, though, is that at least 3 muscles were torn. These heal a lot easier, but he's changing my treatment to reflect that. No more aircast, say hello to ACE bandages. And I'm going to be on both crutches rather than just one for 2 more weeks. After which I'll see him again, be evaluated, and may go back to walking more normally. I also have some excercises to do a few times a day.
In other good news, I'll be OK for 'short distance' drives after the weekend.
