Well, one nasty surprise already on my final day: I have to give back the iBook that was supposed to be given to me. Damn!

But, on the rebound, I am being given my Palm m515, which is nothing to sneeze at.

The A/C is apparently out all over campus because they decided that rather than use independent A/C, it all should go through the steam plant. So now that they're working on the steam....

Oops.

Needless to say, the beautiful new IT offices on the 4th floor of this lovely new building are a bit of a charnel house.

On the other hand, in 5 more hours, it won't matter to me.

Not bad. A little farther from work than the first option, but a slightly lower rent and far lower utilities makes a good difference. I've called to see if I can get in there next Saturday for a look, too. Being able to do a direct comparison's always nice.
