doesn't smell of dubious odor half the time I go in there.

Ok, so, I've finally been tagged for the music meme after several weeks of dodging with my ninjitsu internet jutsu.

Here's the instructions:

List five songs that you are currently digging. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now. Those who read spartanfan will find I already did a version with my much smaller work collection. Here's 5 from the whole damn basket. I'm also going to avoid re-using any from the work list. :D I do try to listen to a few different things at home...

1. 100 Generations - ThouShaltNot, The White Beyond.

I don't know why, but Alexx managed to sink claws deep within my brainmeats on this song. The piano, the lyrics, the understated but beautiful music beneath his vocals. If I'm singing a song under my breath, you'd not be amiss guessing it was this one.

2. Feuer Frei! - Rammstein, Mutter.

This is pretty much the best possible song to listen to when I'm kicking ass in CoH as Eisensturm. In fact, I attribute the fact I've dinged him from 21-23 lately solely to listening to this song. If you need angry Germans, you can't go wrong here.

3. I Can't Wait Till You Try To Come Back - The White Stripes, White Blood Cells

Another semi-bluegrassy rock song. The chorus pretty much seizes and rocks you if you're even vaguely in the mood.
If I needed an angry break-up song, this'd probably be a good choice, but fortunately I've not been shopping for one.

4. Tank! - Yokko Kanno, Cowboy Bebop OST

If you don't like this song, you are dead inside. A rotting shell of a human being, wasting from within.

5. The Imperial March - John Williams & The London Symphony Orchestra, The Empire Strikes Back

With all the Star Wars fever, it's been in my head a lot, and on the playlist as a result.

Now, so glad to be out of work...
