Finding out people are doing weekly 40k over at Hobbyland, which is much closer to home and work than Guardtower, and
doesn't smell of dubious odor half the time I go in there.

Bad: Air conditioner's broken, and no idea when they'll be out to fix it. :/

Dave bought a pack while we were out hitting stores because no-one, or nearly no-one, in the Dublin area is stocking Star Wars Miniatures boosters except Hobbyland. Which is odd, because Toys R' Us stocks the D&D version. Just not Star Wars.

I have a 300-ct magic card box filled with ships and crew. And another filled with excess crew/duplicate ships. If you wish to experience the glory that is two (or even three) fleets going at it, I can provide.

Truly a pity I have to be in Cornell all of next week.

Yeah, I'd definently enjoy that. As it was, we took 2 uncrewed ships out, and while Dave got the better of me in a couple rounds of combat, I managed to show that cargo space can turn the tide of a battle. :D

If you figure out when you'd like to try and be out, let me know, because I know that dklegman'd really want to go for it, but his work schedule is craaaazy.

I'd like to see first-hand how it's played from someone who actually knows what they're doing. I'm looking forward to seeing a demo game at Origins.

I'm thinking what they ought to do is adapt this game to WWII naval battles. I would be all over that!
