Not only is Optimus kicking it first season, he's a symbol of a larger story.
After a great deal of (very successful) house-viewing today, I went to my parents, as they'd asked me if I could pick up some of the things that had previously been left in my old room.
This turned into a 2 hour haul of large crates into the car until I wasn't sure Alex would fit, and with enough crates still in the basement that I think a U-haul and a hand truck would not be out of line. (And, for that matter, a serious look at my accumulated crap, and how much it might fetch upon "teh ebayz.") I found 2 footlockers full of Gundam Models. I could line the walls of a room with them. That's awesome, but also rather terrifying. I'm trying to remember where all that free time came from, and failing.
Oh, wait, yes, it was from a total lack of socialization. Right!
Exhausted, but proud, I found Prime in one of the boxes I unloaded today (along with 2 pairs of quite nice shoes I'd forgotten I owned), and brought him to my DVD shelf (and later up to my PC desk) with glory.
