Hello Matt!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Join us for a Nationwide Arena Tour on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 7:00 pm.
Joel Siegman, Manager of Fan Development, and the Columbus Blue Jackets have invited Jacket Backer members and their families for a free behind- the-scenes look at Nationwide Arena. The tour will begin promptly at 7:00 and is expected to last between 60 and 90 minutes. Per Joel, “We will begin at the top and work our way down through the Arena”. Cameras will be allowed, but we are asked to not take pictures in the locker room.
If you are interested in attending this behind-the-scenes tour please RSVP to activities@jacketbackers.org on or before October 18, 2007. Please include the number of people in your party and if you will be arriving in more than 1 car. Details on parking and how to enter the arena will be determined once we have an idea of the number of people and cars that will be at this event.
This event precedes the CBJ vs. Chicago at 8:30 pm. There is no television coverage. If anyone has any ideas for a post-tour away game cheering event please feel free to send suggestions to activities@jacketbackers.org. If we come up with any good ideas or plans we will let you know.

Oct. 10th, 2007 09:23 pmOh - almost forgot to post here.
Dad's surgery went well. They removed the problem tissue without too many issues. 4 hour procedure according to Mom.
Apparently he was doing well enough that the doctors think he'll be able to go home in the morning, as long as nothing comes up overnight. He was up for awhile and walked a bit around the hospital with mom before he settled in for the night.
I feel a lot better.
I think my bad mood this morning might well have been amped by the bad weather and concern for him.
Also, Jackets up 3-0 on Phoenix. Woohoo!
