I think, all considered, this was a good trip with my family. I didn't get to see friends, but as much as I'd have liked that I must admit this was not the main goal of the trip. I was out here to A) See the pandas B) spend time with my sister and grandparents and C) get a little sightseeing in, and I think I achieved all of these quite well, and we kept pretty sane all things considered.

Meanwhile, Evel Knievel died, in bed, in his sleep. I'm pretty sure someone in Vegas lost money over that.

Me, I just remember an interview where he explained "I got into being a daredevil because I spent most of my 20s robbin' banks and crackin' safes, and the bikes were a lot less likely to get me shot."

We'll pour a brew out over 14 buses for you, Evel. Sleep well. (Huh. Apparently his last ever jump was at King's Island in Cinci.)

Home. Thank goodness! Made it back to Columbus, disengaged from various family members as best as I could, then drove home. Alex and I went over to Red Robin for a homecoming meal, and now I'm parked in front of more sports on TV than I know what to do with.

Legs sore, brain a little floof, and I'm gonna work on uploading pictures later on my main PC.
