Torch test

Aftermath

Once it cools enough to touch I'll use some mineral spirits to get the paint residue off, and it's ready to go into the smoker as a diffuser paint.

Sure, I could have gotten an angle grinder or an acid dip to do the same thing (and without needing a wipe-down, I suppose), but -why?-

Dude. E-Tank drink!

I wish they'd sell this over here. I'd buy a case.

In other news: Going to throw a pork butt on the smoker to do some pulled pork tomorrow!

I also have some nice pork spare ribs that look like they could use some slow, tender cooking.

I'll be getting up around 7 and throwing stuff on the fire probably no later than 8 or 9. Bring me over some breakfast so I don't have to leave my smoker vigil and you will receive glorious tribute.
