Aftermath

Once it cools enough to touch I'll use some mineral spirits to get the paint residue off, and it's ready to go into the smoker as a diffuser paint.

Sure, I could have gotten an angle grinder or an acid dip to do the same thing (and without needing a wipe-down, I suppose), but -why?-

Thanks! :D You get some fun colors when you heat it 700 degrees. :D

After I cleaned it down, it was pretty shiny, but after I seasoned it with the cooking oil and smoke, it's back to having a very dull black/brownish coat.
