Mmm. So.

Classes (save exams) are done. It's a nice feeling, if a bit...hrm. I dunno. Unfulfilling? I've worked my ass off this semester, but it doesn't feel like it's been that hard, really. Even with I.S. and the huge comics research paper I did for my History course, I don't think I ever felt like I was in a bind I couldn't get out of, or challenged so much I got forced to stretch.

I dunno if that's good or bad. I like to know I've really worked for my grades, y'know? And sure, I killed about 100 trees, but that's not the same.

In housing news, Ben is probably going over to the other housing program. We had a mandatory "pre-move" meeting with the RD last night just so we could assure him this wasn't because I was trying to sacrifice cats at midnight or because Ben secretly masturbates hamsters while I'm trying to work. Honestly, Mike the RD was quite cool about it all and understood completely. If Ben gets his room key before the end of exams, I'm gonna help him take stuff over in the wagon. I think we could probably take all his clothes and etx. in 2, 3 trips.

As to my situation, Mike said that he wasn't sure about if they'd put another person in to replace Ben, but he was gonna push that I just be allowed to have the room as a single. If that fails, he's gonna push that I get to look at who they want to move in before it's finalized. (No offense, but I don't want random.Freshman or Jon Honefenger when he comes back from Prague. :D I'd scare the frosh, and quite frankly I think that Jon and I rooming together would probably lead to a murder-suicide, one way or another.) Mike is, in fact, a good guy.

Here's hoping for the double-single, tho. :> I think I'd probably do another birthday party/MUSHer meet if I could have the double and put a few people up easily.

Work should be fairly easy today, and a possible comic shop run before I go to the party over at Karen's. (I wonder if she has an LJ. I bet she'd find it fascinating...must ask. It'd appeal to her, I suspect. And she's kinda getting forced to be more internet savvy to keep up with some of the work I do in cross-referencing stuff. :D) Gwen stopped by and may want to go, so I'll probably be giving her a ride as well.

Tomorrow suddenly became busy. Going up to Funco as discussed, possibly doing lunch while in Canton with some guys John knows, suspect that some IT networking and me being shown off as lackey will occur. Then back to Wooster to shop for the camera for Dad, and possibly dinner with Granda. Probably start my take-home exam, too.
