bzarcherOh, today was good!
The chruch service wasn't so bad. I and my dad are apparently the only men in the choir or congregation who can sing, but. No real guilt pangs about being in church without being christian.
Then we got home.
The dishwasher needed its' door replaced. Dad had gone out and gotten the stuff to do this.
I was not in the kitchen for this, but I heard the shouts of anger and pain when
A) He nearly electrocuted himself because he didn't bother to flip the breaker
B) He broke the old door off its' hinges
C) He broke the hinges too
D) He did something that shredded something important in the wiring.
We are now apparently less one dishwasher for the immediate future. (Immediate being until I leave, though I expect they'll replace it when possible.)
We then had to replace the lock on the front door, because Dad had done something to the old one before I got home. Not too much problem there....except the fact that apparently while everyone -else- has the new key, I do not. I've been told I'll have one tomorrow.
IT IS A GOOD DAY. Really.
