Long day...

I miss skarlette...she's not feeling well, tho, and I'd rather have her laying down and getting better than online with me.

Saw LoTR:TTT again....Steve and I disagree because he feels the movie should have been closer to the book, while I look at the two as seperate entities, because the movie can never -be- the book.

Ah, well.

I have to go home tomorrow morning, due to doctor's appointments my parents were nice enough to schedule without telling me until I was already in Dayton.

I don't want to go.

Ah, well. NYC in 3 more days. Chicago in 6. Wooster in 11.

I will persevere.

I'll be arriving at LaGuardia around 6pm Sunday. My conference starts at 9am Monday, and I leave 8pm Monday night. :D

I agree. The movie can never be the book, as with the book we have an unlimited special effects budget and can cast whoever we want in the roles. ;)

The resident UD grad suggests you dine at either Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers downtown or at the BW-3 on Brown Street next to the UD campus. (There's is/was a Ben & Jerry's in the area too.) I also highly suggest trips to Second Time Around (CDs/videos/games, also on Brown Street), Dragon's Realm (or somesuch, downtown), Bookery Fantasy (in Fairfield), and the game store at the far end of the Oregon District whose name eludes me after all these years.

*sigh*

If there was anyplace other than Cleveland I'd want to be, it'd be Dayton. I need to get myself back down there this year.
