Mar. 30th, 2002 12:44 amCompletely useless isn't so bad. :D
The dorm movie night I was supposed to run kinda failed utterly, mainly because a ton of people went home for the holiday. I think the fact that we didn't have government board on Sunday due to break also hurt.
OTOH, the two people who did attend had never seen the 1 movie I decided to show (Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension), and were suitably made fans of it. was also told my snack selections were great.
Played some StarCraft with
sk4p and got my ass solidly whooped. The problem with playing 4+ player games is the dynamic is totally different from 1 on 1. :D Was still great fun, tho.
Sleep now, work in the morning, possible LAN party in late afternoon. Good plan.

The story is compelling. The pacing in the narrative is excellent and does a very good job of keeping you in their universe as you play. (The fact that a DVD of just cutscenes could be released and be quite successful is an excellent sign in this.)
As to multiplayer? Well, it's fun to take all these neat toys and make them do stuff, especially since humans are far more dangerous than the computer ever dreamed of being.
