On another note, however. I'm watching the news, and they're making an incredible hullabaloo about the fact that "Soldiers were injured today".

THIS IS A FUCKING WAR. What did you expect? We get bombs and they get squirt guns?

I've just been reminding myself that "war is what happens when diplomacy fails" the last few days. Of course, it doesn't help that I don't really believe the administration's claim that this war is primarily about making sure Terrorists Don't Get Big Nasty Weapons.
