If there is any justice in the world, and with a little bit of luck, I might just be able to make it to Pittsburgh for a few hours Monday the 15th. I'll be suffering the next day, and my work schedule will hiccup slightly, but....

I would like to, but have no plans to do so at this time. I would have to just come up for the actual weekend if I did... I have heard so much about this... carnival.

Yes, I too have heard much about it. It seems like homecoming, only in the spring, and not centered around a football game. I'm looking forward to finally meeting some of the people on here, including but not limited to lordandrei and shimmeringjemmy.

I should invite you guys to Wooster's homecoming. The Carnival aspect isn't as clear, but there's a very fun dance, usually.

Anyone who ever bothers to read the crap I spew on LJ is invited to Wooster's Winter Gala dance next year. It's apparently the evening of 2/9/2002. :D It's a rather nice dance and such. Probably the closest Wooster gets to a Carnival, as our homecoming is mostly attended by the -really- old alumni, whereas Gala attracts more recent vintages.

Plus, I could use a Gala in my time here that didn't end up sucking one way or another, and having a bunch of people arrive for this would be fun.

Unfortunately, you are correct.

Similarly, as I have 2 term papers due on the 22nd, there shall be no Carnival for this poor boy.

More's the pity. If it were week later I would do my damnest to come, for I would need it, by then.
