Yes, it took about an hour and a half.
My new desk was manufactured in Chicago, by the 'All-Steel' corp. In 1954.

buschap's help, it's in safely, and set up nicely. I didn't fulfill degraine's prophecy of slipped disks, but my knee and chest feel a bit sore from repeated impacts.
Past that, I think that Mac Hall said the rest about this desk better than I could here.
