So. Remember back last Sunday when I mentioned the cable was out, and that Andy informed me it was out the Sunday before, too?

Andy talked to the guy who handles the cable for the college today. He said it was probably related to some stuff they're doing on the tennis courts (construction and whatnot), and that yes, it'd probably keep repeating every weekend.

That definently annoys me. They didn't even bother to tell us that it's going to happen, and the best the dude can offer is 'sorry, it'll keep happening.'

He didn't say specifically on the weekend. Just that it was likely to happen again. And he can't warn us if the construction folks don't warn him. You could set up rabbit ears, and have service like you used to a few years back.

Probably true, but since when has logic had anything to do with being annoyed? Besides, rabbit ears might give us better reception on a few of our local stations... ;D

Interesting fact: In place of actual wire, you can apparently use a loaf of bread for an antenna. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be mouldy or not.
