Why? Because he has given me a sneak passage from L.MB's new book.

I am not into her fantasy as much as her SciFi, but I think I'm gonna have to get it when it comes out just for that paragraph and finding out it's context.

I read it, but it still didn't click the way the Barrayar books do. :D But I will pick it up again later and try it again.

Like I mentioned, when I read it last, I couldn't stick with it. OTOH, I was under a lot of stress at the time.
