In honor of the 40th anniversary of Dr. Who, I'll be regenerating the rest of the day. Expect me to come back with a scarf.

Walking this afternoon was different. It looks like a totally different place with the lights on. And not warming up by doing my daily routine made it hurt. But, I did it, and then I got groceries. Picked up a steak for the day after Thanksgiving, since I think Lowry will be closed.

I'll be depositing the check for the computer Monday, but with the holiday, won't really be able to order and have it arrive where I can get it until Friday. I'm actually vaugely annoyed with the holiday. If I didn't have Friday off, I could order it Tuesday, probably have it delivered Friday, and have my computer fixed for the weekend.

Oh, well.

Except for when I went out to walk and shop, I've spent most of the day with Lisa online. It's been awhile since we really got to do this, and it's wonderful.

Now, I think I'm gonna go sit on the couch and get back into FFTA.

If you were to regenerate into having a scarf, this would necessitate that you previously had a large yellow car named Bessie.

You do not have a yellow car named Bessie.

So how do you explain the scarf?

(Even the sonic screwdriver won't get you out of this one.)

Obviously I got the scarf from my voluminous wardrobe, after my companion refused my first choice, full Napoleonic dress.

Never skip warm-ups. Even though they take time, do them instead of walking if you have to, but don't walk without them!! Although it isn't as strenuous as dance, you can do a lot of damage to yourself by not being stretched out properly. I would hate to see you loose everything you're working for by pulling a muscle and having to sit for several days.

In other news, the gift we spoke about is coming along. I will send you pictures.

Well, I did warm up some. Just not enough to compensate for the different amounts of activity. And my legs feel much better now, which is good.

As to the gift: YAAAAAAAAAAY!

Ah, but is it a 12-foot long multi-color scarf, or is it a short yeallow scarf?

That is an official secret.

I'm afraid the source for the secret scarves is classified.

EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!

(Y'know, with a bazillion cable channels to choose from, not one can bother to show Dr. Who reruns. WTF.)

Not even BBC America? Suck.

The PBS affiliate in Lousiville still carries Dr. Who, from what I hear. Not that it does any of us any good.

First time I've ever even had a /vauge/ reason to move to Kentucky.
