Oh, dammit. Can someone help me out?

I know there's an Ogg Vorbis plugin for iTunes on the mac, but I also would swear there's one availible for the PC. Yet, I cannot find it. Can anyone possibly point me to it?

I remember there being an add on to one of the divx codecs I saw recently... I'm not sure if that would help you out in any way, but I figured I'd try and point it out.

Hmm. Could be. But once again, not something I can plug into iTunes.

Oh, well. I'm sure someone will figure it out soon enough, given the amount of Windows iTunes addicts.

General buzz is that no one wants to try it, and that Apple is *seriously* unlikely to add Ogg Vorbis support to iTunes because it would mean adding it to the iPod and pissing off the AAC powers that be.

There was a plugin for QuickTime that sort-of handled Ogg Vorbis, but it was a hog and otherwise unsuitable. Check SourceForge if you like to live dangerously; it's designed for an older version of QT than the one iTunes likes.
