An anecdote before you think my day has been all screaming and twitch.

Boss and John conducted an equipment inventory today, and in an effort to describe where things are residing for the database, Kathy got a little...label happy.

In big white stickers with block black text, they have covered us in labels.

I, for example, sit next to MSA (Matt's Shelving Area), MTA (Mike's Table Area), MCR (Matt's Coat Rack), M/MBA (Mike/Michael's Bookshelf Area), and farther into the office is the McTA(Michael's Table Area), MFC (Michael's Filing Cabinet), and the dreaded BCRFC (Big Coat Rack Full of Cables).

Also, a ton of our equipment we use for in-office diagnostics and systems configuration now balefully stares back with a DNI! (Do Not Inventory!) tag.

No surprise, they were giggling the entire time...

Don't worry, you're at least guaranteed a good supply of stickers for the label maker.

And free paint! Plus, the jello they give you at 'the place' is pretty neat. But they keep getting annoyed when you try to label them as LBCG #(appropriate numeral).
