Small pet peeve of the day. When I leave a message on someone's voicemail here, I always include my extension.
My extension is also in a verbal header that precedes every message I leave, when you enter my mailbox, when you look me up in the phone system, listed in the phonebook, and repeated before and after you reply to any voicemail I send through the voicemail system.
So why did all 5 of the people I call today to schedule appointments call the help desk and insist they have a message sent back or be transferred to me by the student worker?
