The first purely non-work, no productivity thing I choose to do today to the exclusion of anything else was to watch the Spider-Man 2 trailer after delivering 2 'emergency' systems out to offices.
So of course I got yelled at by Kathy for not doing enough work when I'm leaving for 2 days of this week.
Nevermind that the CTS is at low double digits for open records (unheard of during the year), that I've been taking calls for everyone else so that they could do projects, and that when she said there was 'plenty of work' that I could be doing, she couldn't actually give me any when I did 2 more calls for the Michaels and then asked if she had stuff she needed picked up.
It can't be that I've actually been doing my job well enough that I could take a 1:32 break, right?
I took my lumps, and didn't say anything, but honestly. Out for 2 days or not, considering that the entire office goofs out at one point or another just about daily (including her!), I don't think she really had room. Especially since one of the calls I worked on a good chunk of the day was to cover something she asked me to take this morning.
Gwar.
In other annoying news: my work cellphone's on the fritz. Again. And I think the antenna is broken.
