Dec. 29th, 2003 03:53 pmThere's something wrong with the world when a brita filter for my pitcher costs more than 2 10 pound steel handweights.
That said, the weights ought to be a nice way to alternate days where rather than walking, I do handweight exercises for 30-45 minutes.
I douibt it will have as major an effect as the walking does on my weight, but conditioning my upper body ought to be quite good.
Even better, I found $15 in my wallet I didn't realize I had! Went and put it in checking on my way home.
Now, to go lift some iron.

Date: 2003-12-29 01:00 pm (UTC)The weights sound like a fabulous idea. Back when I was disciplined enough to do them, I ran around all the time flexing and making people touch my biceps, which was tons of fun for everyone involved (or really just for me).

Date: 2003-12-29 01:02 pm (UTC)The weights are a lot of fun, though I'm used to ones with plastic coating rather than lumps of metal. Something more 'rugged' about that. (Not to mention $5 a weight cheaper.) And hey, we had lots of fun feeling you up!
