There's something wrong with the world when a brita filter for my pitcher costs more than 2 10 pound steel handweights.

That said, the weights ought to be a nice way to alternate days where rather than walking, I do handweight exercises for 30-45 minutes.

I douibt it will have as major an effect as the walking does on my weight, but conditioning my upper body ought to be quite good.

Even better, I found $15 in my wallet I didn't realize I had! Went and put it in checking on my way home.

Now, to go lift some iron.

There's something wrong when the replacement filter bit costs almost as much as the entire pitcher setup itself.. but I'll be damned if I drink old building city tap water.

The weights sound like a fabulous idea. Back when I was disciplined enough to do them, I ran around all the time flexing and making people touch my biceps, which was tons of fun for everyone involved (or really just for me).

As I've stated before, there's raw stupid in the tap water. I refuse to damn myself.

The weights are a lot of fun, though I'm used to ones with plastic coating rather than lumps of metal. Something more 'rugged' about that. (Not to mention $5 a weight cheaper.) And hey, we had lots of fun feeling you up!
