Borrowing from your LJ's current title, that is a gun for shooting entire monkeys at other monkeys. One could ride upon the bullet as it whizzed through the air like a fat locust, waving his little cowboy hat.

It also appears to be the gun to have if you're one of those guys who drives the $40,000 F-350 crew cab truck with the dualie rear tires and DVD player into two parking spaces in front of Wal Mart.

More seriously, I'm pretty sure this is a scheme to make some S&W exec's yacht payment for him. They're gonna ream people on the price of ammo.

Hell, this is the gun for shooting the whole fucking barrel of monkeys. But you have to admit, if you needed to make a hole, this would do it. (Hell, I bet you could hunt bear with that thing.)

Actually, I wonder about the ammo pricing. Partly because they're offering several levels of cost, and partially because it's only a 5-loader, and I can't see someone shooting more than 15-20 before they called it a day, even with target or speedshooting.

My father started me with education and dart guns at age 4. I was shooting pellet guns by age 6, and my first pistols and rifles by age 7. (In fact, I got a shotgun for my 12th birthday.)

I'm primarily a target shooter, not a hunter, but I do enjoy going to the range when I can.

The term "hand cannon" comes to mind for that gun. Then again, I'm still waiting for some joker to try making a pistol chambered for .223 Remmington...
