Well, it was an interestng day.

1) Wake up at 8am and go to State Farm to sign loan and insurance stuff. (For the moment, I'm under my parents insurance, but they have about $300,000 in liability over state minimums that I don't need or want to pay for, so I'm gonna meet with them next week about a separate policy and if it'd be cheaper.)

2) Go to dealership (2.5 hour drive due to construction) and sign papers.

3) Watch dad collapse on dealership floor.

4) Take dad to hospital. Find out that he's got a kidney infection which meant that his diabetes was worse and his insulin doses hadn't been large enough.

5) Meet Mom and Alison at hospital. (Did I ever mention that my little sister is named Alison? Well, she is.)

6) See Dad respond to treatment. Doctor says he'll be able to go home (possibly even drive himself depending on how he does) tomorrow, they just want to keep him for observation.

7) Show Mom and Alison new car.

8) Go with Mom to dealership in the van so I can drive Dad's truck to the hospital for them.

9) Drive to Wooster, get parking permits, affix permits, go home, and microwave dinner.

To say it's been a full day is an understatement. Oh, and the car is the "Emerald Green" color, which is good, as I like green, and it looks better on the actual car than it does on the website.

Now I get to help with MUSHing stuff, and sleep eventually.

And I have a car. I honest to god own a car. This is great.
