Get Equipped with: BLACK SILK TIE! (Even if it is a clip-on.)

Also looking at some apartment groups these guys have deals with for lowered rent, waived deposits, etc. They've got one in Berea that would be a bit of a commute, but OTOH, it's a NICE price for rent. ($399, fully furnished, for a studio, or $555 for a fully furnished 1 bed, 1 bath, with utility room and washer/dryer hookups.) A similar place with slightly lower prices is availible in Elyria. (In fact, the 1 bed, 1 bath is only $420 a month, and I tink I like the floorplan better.) Or Bedford, with slightly higher rent.

Now, the question I have is, I've no idea what the commute to Mayfield is from those areas. Can anyone help?

FRIGGIN' LONG! There are nice appartments in Mayfield itself (Marsol comes to mind) that I suggest you look into. :)

I'm going to shortly. The only reason I'm looking at those areas is that if I moved into one of those, I'd get a deal on my rent through a thingy TekSystems has. But, I listen to the pros. :D Marsol, you said?

Yeah, that's a serious haul. Check out Mayfield/Heights, Cleveland Heights, South Euclid, Richmond Heights. Those are all under 30 minutes from Progressive. Beachwood and stuff on SOM Center are closer, but very expensive.

I mostly just kinda shrugged because back when I was in Columbus, an hour commute was normal, depending on what I was doing. :D That said, Marsol in the Mayfield Heights looks really good, so I'm gonna do some checking on it.

I can't tie normal neckties! I just can't! IT IS MY SECRET SIN AND SHAME!

Well, it sure isn't secret now. ;-)

Fortunately, this is fixable. Googling revealed this guide, which looks a lot like one I used waaaay long ago. It is hard to learn just from pictures; you'll need to practice.

And nothing says "calm like the eye of a hurricane" like being able to tie a tie while people are angrily shouting two feet away from you.
