Apr. 11th, 2004 08:40 pmIt's been a not bad day.
Spent the morning with
skarlette. Found out that someone wants to buy about 120k worth of furniture from my SWG character, got that arranged, then went to brunch with my grandparents, mom, dad, and sister.
We met them at Landoll's Castle again. Amazingly huge brunch. Such a huge fucking brunch. Lamb, chicken, prime rib, ham, seafood, omlettes, waffles, 3 different potatoey things, rice dishes, risottos, salads, fruits, veggies, and desserts which which to block out the sun. Yet, I am proud that I only had 1 and a half plates, and 2 small dishes of fruit. Control is good. (And I ate less than everyone else there, except my grandmother.)
Though, it was still a lot more than I was used to eating. I felt way, way, way, way too overfull when we left. This is also good, I think. I like that my body does not like me eating lots of food, anymore.
Got some mail I'd been waiting for from my parents, and easter presents, which were neat. (By far the most interesting is a thing of caffienated soap from my sister. Mocha mint flavor, it seems.)
But, the best thing, really, was the reaction of my sister when she got out of the car to meet us.
"OH MY GOD! You look incredible! Thinner and better and OHMYHGOD!"
That felt really, really, really good.
