Work update: My deadline extends!
Apr. 30th, 2004 09:29 amSo, my boss contracted the College about the fact that my contract technically ends on a Monday (the 10th of May), and when I should settle my last day at.
However, the College came back with the fact that since I started employment on the 10th, last year, but didn't actually get my paperwork finalized until the 12th, my actual last day would be between the 12th and 14th.
My boss and I settled on the 14th (unless one of my job searches bears fruit beforehand) as my last day, and I was asked if I could try to be moved out of my apartment by Monday, the 17th.
So, that's all settled.
Next question: Anyone want to have a moving party? I know that my parents will likely come that Saturday or Sunday to help me move back to Columbus, but it might be fun to take Friday and part of Saturday to do all the boxing and packing, and then have some form of major revelry on paper plates. And since my TV's too big to go in a box, I suppose we'd have to leave it out until it was time to load it into the truck. And my DVD player and X-box can always be packed in the morning...
Now, dammit, I just need that new job. GIVE ME A NEW JOB! HIRE ME! I'm better than anyone else you could possibly be interviewing!
