Jun. 1st, 2004 06:20 pmThe government of the state of Indiana does not actually exist.
Why do I say this?
Alex calls the courthouse back: They still can't find the specific citation (except for the amount of the fine w/ interest), and can't find the lawyer. So they called the State Police. The ISP can't find a ticket ever issued to that citation #. Neither can any of the local departments or the county sheriff for the county which logged the ticket.
The courthouse is faxing Perimeter confirmation that they don't know why the ticket was issued, who issued it, why he was charged, or what the incident even was. Perimeter is going to override the credit check, and we'll find out more tomorrow.
*cross fingers*
