ALso, interestingly enough, janet_reno has apparently decided to weigh in on my little poll/sociology experiment. Interesting.

I'd like to note, though that I'd like to see explanations from those who offer contrary opinions. I think they're as if not more important than the affirmative.

I do feel that the language of your question biases the responses pretty heavily. I could ask a similar question of 'If you could murder someone and get away with it, zero repercussions, would you? The absurd context, in my opinion, takes away any real scientific or sociological value from the question, all it really becomes is something you might print on a paper coaster, some banal comment for people to read at TGIFriday's as they wolfed down their 'extreme' mexican eggrolls.

That's not to say I don't see the experiment you want to create, I just think the responses are heavily weighted on each person's general curiosity.

This is probably true. :D On the other hand, it's also a whimsy experiment, so whimsical results don't surprise me that much.
