So I'm working with VMware to create new sessions, because one of our now ex-employees apparently trashed all the stock sessions we'd had on our server in a fit of pique.

Win2k? No problem.
WinXP? No sweat.
WinNT 4 Workstation...hoo,boy.

Or at least, so I thought. I'm currently in the final stages of patching the NT session, and it went together far smoother than I expected!

They were deleted off the backup server. We think that the gentleman who most likely did it got wind of his incoming kibosh, and wiped stuff while we were working on the morning rush that day.

Hopefully, one or more of you have phoned up HR and let 'em know that disgruntled IT people with no real skillsets except blowing shit away tend to Do This, and that their policies need to be tightened up wrt escorting such folks out the door?

Let's just say that I don't think it was a coincidence that when the other three were let go, they were told they should take some 'full pay leave' while the investigation was going, and then let go without the ability to come back.
